Thanks for giving!
My Thanksgiving consists of my small family and tables piled high with warm food. we dont really gather in large pods like most families do during thanksgiving, we like to have the food to oursleves, so thanksgiving isnt that big of a deal for me but there is one thing i wait for every year for my mom to make and that he homemade pumpkin pie. i dont know how she does it but its deffenitly mouth watering. last thanksgiving my dad decided he THOUGHT he was skilled enough to deep fry a turkey for the first time. that thanksgiving my mom had to go out and buy a very expensive premade turkey, and that was the last time my dad cooked....ever

Rain
When i hear rain i immedietly think one, i want to go to sleep, two, where is the closest scrunchy so my hiar doesnt frizz and three, are my car windows down. Rain is a love hate relationship, sometimes you plan a camping trip three weeks in advanced until rain ruins your plans or the day has been to hectic and a nice drizzle would really sooth a streesed mind. if i had to choose between living in a country that rains alot or a country that rains a little i would choose the country that is the most damp, not only becuase i personally like rain but becuase im very fair skined and the sun does not seem to agree with me ha. what more can you really say about rain besides the fact that its water, which newsflash we need it to live, its soothing and it seems as if it washes away the ugly and a fresh morning after rain is the calmest and prettiest morning to wake up to.

Melissa Ann Shaw

R.I.P Melissa Ann Shaw
my sister, we love you.
As many people may know Melissa Shaw passed away friday night in a tragic car accident. Some say she was just an ROTC nerd but to me she was a friend. We meet in 8th grade when i first moved to Owensboro my first day at Burns middle went by and i had made my first few friends, Becca Marshal, Kim Cooper, Kaybri Ward and Melissa Shaw. when 8th grade ended it was Melissa who convinced me to join ROTC at Apollo. Together we enlisted in colorgaurd and there is where i met Melissa's brother Ben, i dated him for a short time but in the end we remained friends. When Sophomore year came i heard the news that Sargent Parker was retiring, after his last year i quit ROTC but still remained friends with Melissa. We always seemed to have a class together every year, the last time i will meet her is in Mrs Fallons class. Melissa Hated her with a passion of a thousand suns, this made the class a bit more bearable knowing Melissa would always have something cute to say or joke about.
i miss her more and more each day but i feel that her death teaches us many things.

Must watch
in order to make your day a little bit better i have provided two videos. that always make me laugh.
Real Highschool

When your a underclassmen you think of seniors as being this top-notch, popular, stress less student that you dream of being when you are a senior, but now that i have finally become a senior the life doesn't seem so glamorous. yes, i finally know which teachers i can goof around with and i now remembered which coke machines still work at 8 but i still cant figure out what they put in the "hamburger meat" at lunch.
Movies really over exaggerate because iv never known anyone to go into a coma, iv never seen someone
break out in song, and no one honestly looks that good.
in highschool movies at parties its always at a two story mansion, red cups as far as the eye can
see, their is always an open pool in the backyard and people are always lined up for a bredroom.
but in real life WHEN there is a party its either at a nasty hotel (the cadelac) or at sum 30 year old
dudes house that wasnt in the scene in high school so he hangs out with
kids now to feel wanted.

Cat's Clock

Today i stubbled
upon a clock, literally i almost fell over it. it was just laying there in the middle of the hall way, i picked it up and took it to my next class. after class Keira and i decided that the best thing to do with the clock is for me to wear it around my neck like flavor flave (picture on left) what a great idea lol. the only problem we had was finding a string or a necklace to hold it, ofcourse Keira had a solution. she pulls out dental floss and now i sit in mrs matthews class with dental floss holding a clock the size of my abdomen around my neck. what a great day! lol

Family(what it means to me)
Being the youngest out of a grand total of 7, yes 7 chaps i would like to contribute alot of wisdom to blog viewers about family but i can't. because im the youngest and my dear mother is now turning 60 soon, it means when i was at the joyful age of....about 7 all my brother's and sister had long gone. they were off doing adult things like touring the world and making babies while i was still adding up 2+2. although when i do see my much older siblings its a party, we share memories and future goals. family no matter what the size or the difference, is a blessing.
